Leonard Blavatnik
Blavatnik is one of the world’s most active and generous philanthropists. Over the past decade, the Blavatnik Family Foundation has contributed more than $1 billion to over 250 institutions worldwide to advance science, higher education, good government and the arts, and in support of Jewish and other charitable causes around the world.

In 2017, Blavatnik was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for service to philanthropy. In 2013, he was appointed Chevalier of the French Legion d’Honneur for his support of education.
