Forbes Italy: DAZN conquers Serie A
On March 26th, DAZN, the international streaming platform owned by billionaire philanthropist Len Blavatnik and known as “The Netflix of Sports,” beat Sky for the right to broadcast Italian football championship Serie A for the next three years.
DAZN’s victory represents an epochal change: Serie A will now be broadcast almost entirely online, marking the demise of satellite TV’s hegemony.
