For the first time, Len Blavatnik makes the top 20 of Forbes’ 40th annual list of 400 wealthiest Americans. With a net worth of $36.7 billion, up from $25 billion last year, Blavatnik’s varied investments have truly paid off.
Since 2020, both Warner Music and cloud computing firm, DigitalOcean, went public. Shares of Warner Music Group are up 35% since last year’s list while DigitalOcean’s $5 billion IPO in March 2021 propelled him higher on the list. In addition, Blavatnik’s sports streaming service, DAZN, has nearly 10 million subscribers now.
